Brewdog: Exciting beer news in Ohio

I didn’t write this one; it is a report from my Media Network of Central Ohio brothers and sisters at the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. And an exciting report it is if you live in — or near — Ohio and love beer.

CANAL WINCHESTER – Get ready for the Dogtap.

That’s the name of the new pub/restaurant that Scottish craft brewery BrewDog plans to open Aug. 16 at a 42-acre site at 96 Gender Road, which is about a mile south of U.S. 33 and just north of the Madison Township Fire Department. The company also is opening a production center at the location, which will be its North American headquarters, as well as a pub in Columbus.

The company’s newly minted vice president, Jason Davis, said the project will cost $32.5 million.
